Replacement, Any D4364C-##L or -##LL:
General specs:
:You don't want "CX" or "G" in place of the "C"
Generic part number: 6264
:The original "-20L" part was the slowest they ever made (200ns)
*5v
:The ones you find easier now are all faster, which is fine. (-15/12/10 = 150/120/100 ns)
*SRAM (static ram)
:The "L" is low power. "LL" is even better, even lower power (standby memory battery lasts longer)
*8Kx8

General specs:
*Generic/family chip number: 6264LP
*Static Ram (no clock)
*CMOS
*CMOS
*8Kx8
*DIP-28 600 mil package
*DIP28 (plastic 600 mil dip package)
*Parallel (ie 2764 eprom pin compatible)

(## = any number)
-## = any speed
L, LP = low power
LL, LLP = extra low power

(1) Standby current needs to be as low as possible for battery life because the ram is kept powered at all times, even while the machine is turned off.

Most old parts have seperate low power and extra low power versions, usually but not always indicated by L or LL somewhere in the part number.

Most new parts base/only version is the same or better than an older parts "LL" version. The current Alliance part with no special modifiers is better than even the "LL" versions of most of the older parts.
