To Build a Cable
Parts
- 26P (2x13) Female IDC with polarity and strain relief
- 36P Male Centronics IDC with bail locks
- 26P 1.27mm flat cable 5ft or 10ft
Alternative: DigiKey cart with all black parts
Alternative: futurlec has all the necessary parts too.
- IDC Centronics Male Connector (scroll to bottom)
- 26P Female IDC
- 26-wire flat cable (get 2 meters of "26 Core")
Directions
Very simple:
Just place the colored wire on the pin #1 position on both connectors.
