Original RAM: NEC uPD4364C-20L

Replacement, Any D4364C-##L or -##LL:

You don't want "CX" or "G" in place of the "C"
The original "-20L" part was the slowest they ever made (200ns)
The ones you find easier now are all faster, which is fine. (-15/12/10 = 150/120/100 ns)
The "L" is low power. "LL" is even better, even lower power (standby memory battery lasts longer)

General specs:

  • Generic/family chip number: 6264LP
  • Static Ram (no clock)
  • CMOS
  • 8Kx8
  • DIP28 (plastic 600 mil dip package)
  • 2764 eprom pin compatible
  • 200ns or faster
  • Low power or extra low power (L or LL)
  • TTL i/o
  • 5v
