Has the right pins and null modem without needing a null-modem adapter or a gender changer, and works with all normal serial apps, including telcom and all tpdd servers. However one thing is doesn't do is rts/cts. Those are shorted to self-satisfy on both ends, and also tied to carrier detect. So, one thing it's not good for is HTERM.
